GigaByte GV-NX66T128D GeForce 6600 GT Graphics Card...

Strengths: Put the card in the slot and you're done! Powerful enough for all of today's games and those soon to come.

Weakness: no DVI, costs 20 more to get it

Bought this video card to build with my new computer, I must say, this is a HUGE step up from my past FX5200. Had no trouble setting it up, just popped in the CD and installed the drivers, even is compatible with overclocking via vTuner software. Runs even BETTER overclocked! Great deal for a card that is supposed to be considered as a mid-high budget card.

Very good card

Strengths: Easy to install. Great value.

Weakness: No DVI

Provides an excellent example of the 6600GT gpu--fast, capable, and ready for SLI. The box is full of good stuff--games, s-video to rgb out, dvi to analog connectors, software, manuals, etc. I give it only 4 eggs, however, because the heatsink fan on both of mine are noisy, and now one has begun a rattle that dramatically increases the noise in my computer.

Great card 1 year ago, but decent by recent standards

Strengths: Supports PS 2.0 Has DVI and analog connectors 128MB of GDDR3 Memory

Weakness: Does not perform well under resolutions higher than 1280x1024 The fan gets a little loud at times

When I got this card a year ago, it was a great card. I have used it for over a year now and I can still say that it is worth every penny that I paid for it. After getting this card, I was finally able to play the latsst games without much trouble. But if you are really picky and would like the best performing card, this isn't for you. This card is for those people who play games occasionally and do not want to shell out more than $150. It did well a year ago, but now If you have a little more money I'd go with the 6800GS. It is around $200.

great card

This is an excellent card. It offers great "bang for the buck". Excellent performance for both today's and tomorrow's games. The only drawback of this card is the fan. It is rather noisy, and this is quite a problem if you are building a quiet pc.

good value card

Strengths: price, graphics engine

Weakness: no s-video to rca adapter, card could be a little shorter, but all nVidia cards are probably the same length

Installed this card in a Gigabyte K8N Ultra-SLI board. The back of the card is over the chipset, so hopefully I will never need to swap out the stock heatsink.

So far everything seems to work fine, but I haven't really pushed it too hard yet.

However, when I ran dxdiag, the performance didn't seem much better than my 6 year old HP with onboard TNT and 8mb ram!

Hopefully it performs better when actually being used.

Good Buy!

I am very happy with this product. It is a very fast card and came with accessories. I cant wait to play some games with it. I decided to buy this one after reading many other reviews and benchmark tests.

Great performance for a good price

Strengths: Works flawlessly in Linux and handles games like UT2004 without a sweat. Affordable. Dual head support. Can be used in an SLI configuration.

Weakness: What weaknesses? I really can't complain about anything, as I've been pleased since buying it.

This card replaced my dead fx5900 video card and is a definite improvement. I play a lot of Red Orchestra Mod for UT2004 and with AA enabled along with near max settings at 1280x1024, this card works very well. The dual head support is nice and I use it to drive a 21" and a 19" CRT monitors, but that isn't anything special, as just about any nvidia 6600GT-based video card I've seen supports it.

I haven't tried overclocking this card yet, so I can't comment on that, but it does seem that people are having a fair amount of success getting this card to run faster.

Also, I'm not sure what people are talking about by saying this card doesn't come with DVI support. There is 1 DVI port along with the D-Sub port for CRT monitors.

GigaByte GV-NX66T128D GeForce 6600 GT Graphics Card...

Strengths: Easy setup under XP Pro, including duala displays.

Weakness: PC board shape at the rear bracket prevent's my case's sliding card lock from working without modification.

Purchased this card from ChiefValue based on price and features. It has all the capability you expect from nvidea 6600GT, including OC, dual display capability, several included games and a DVD player.
Installed easily under XP Pro, produces respectable benchmarks, plays Doom3 better than I expected. Installed with a Foxconn Athlon64 PCI-Express motherboard.
