I bought this to connect a PS2 and...
Strengths: Easy set-up, easy to use with other D-Link Items, firmware upgrade to 108mbps
Weakness: lag, connection issues
I bought this to connect a PS2 and a TIVO with my D-Link DI-624 Router. Configuration was easy, but you have to connect it directly to a PC with a cable for configuration. It doesn't connect very well across the house (many obstructions) with frequent lag and disconnects. Overall, it gets the job done but it is expensive and the performance is not outstanding.

Strengths: The DWL-G810 allows wireless access for our Playstation 2 from our entertainment room to our router in our office and that is 30 feet and 3 walls away but it works great!
Weakness: I don't know that there are any at this point. I have experienced 1 disconnect but I don't know that it was the products fault. It could be our provider.
We originally were going to use an ethernet cable that I would have run from one room to the other (messy and in the way) but when we found the DLink DWL-G810 Ethernet Bridge for the price we did on PriceGrabber.com along with the rebates we couldn't pass it up. It works great and has enhanced our playstation 2 experience tremendously! We would recommend purchasing the product highly for either...

Strengths: Awesome! Works right out of the box!
Weakness: None; See Below...
This little guy worked right out of the box! I did not have to do anything but plug it in and my PS2 was online. Truly awesome. I changed my SSID and key over the wireless network, rebooted this device from the menu. Changed the settings in my DLink DI-624 router and rebooted it. Whola this little guy picked right up. The only drawback this has, is like ALL 2.4 GHZ networks you will have to...

Strengths: Fast speed. (definately faster than 11mbps, but I'm not convinced it's 5 times faster)
Weakness: Unstable connection.
I had Linksys WET11 (802.11b) wireless bridge with my Xbox for over a year, and recently upgraded my AP and bridge to 802.11g. Both my units supported super-G mode, so I had my hopes set high. However, the biggest issue with the DWL-G810 is when another wireless-enabled device was brought to the network, the DWL-G810 would mess up the wireless signal, and seemingly "jam" the AP/router's signal....
