Strengths: everything

Weakness: price you get what you pay for

Very stable board. Pair with the corsair 3500-LL and they run so smooth haven't had one problem since loading.Make sure to get a good 600 watt or better power supply with sli plugs also. This is the smoothest system I have ever put together since win 3.1

Powerful. You must become familiar with the board... its "unique"

Strengths: Powerful. passive cooling is nice. great overclocking features

Weakness: lots of "unique" things about the board the bios is quirky

The board overvolts your cpu off the bat. keep that in mind.
The board auto overclocks your graphics card.
If your using ddr500, watchout when you change your FSB. The memory divider is set to 250/200 by default.

Many things about its settings out of the box cause people headaches. Once you get passed them, this board is fantastic.

Very nice, but......

Strengths: Its works a rocks fast, works cool and quiet[excellent work of asus in it], the SLI works fine in 16x,one of the things that left me intrigued is the AI Life Game....

Weakness: Dont have high definition audio codec, dont suport the new type of sata[sata II],the bus suport only 1Ghz while a8nsli premium suports 2Ghz, it is very limited in qntity of Fan Connectors[only 1!!!!]

I would like to see this motherboard supporting the opterons processors,....
... because the limited qntity of Fan Connectors, I cant make a powerful cooling system...... I think ASUS need to make a hard work to make these motherboard better....

Best Board for AMD Processors

Strengths: Very Quiet, Bios is very simple to Tweak for enthusiasts Lots of ports for future upgrade

Weakness: Pricey and every seller have it on back order If you setup SLI with Cards, you will be waisting one PCI port because the those cards have big Fans.

I love this Mobo, I always have been using Asus for it quality and reliabilty. The MB is very stable at higher Clock Frequency. Make sure you get a very good memory like Corsair or OCZ for Low Latency. Looks like the Socket 939 is going to be absolete after a while but this MB by far the best bang for you buck(even better then EFI LAN PARTY) I have not tried Asus support yet but I heard that you...

Feature rich, but oddly designed

Strengths: Feature rich. Abundant connectors. Passively cooled means low noise. A modest array of overclocking features.

Weakness: Totally unusable PCIe x4 slot. Incompatibilities.

The copper heat pipe rising up across the plane of the PCIe x4 slot obstructs the insertion of any expansion card into this slot. An unconscienable design oversight for such an expensive motherboard. The RAID 5 feature is worthless: way too slow. Don't let that feature sell you on this. This mobo is good for gamers, as advertised. But look elsewhere for a powerful Media Center or general high-end...
