For me, not a major upgrade
Strengths: Refinements to an already fine product
Weakness: None to speak of
I consider PSP an excellent all purpose photo editing program. However, I do not remotely use all its power or push its performance. I got Ver 9 as an inexpensive upgrade, and do not regret doing so. But I would not call it an essential upgrade for existing users who are happy with what Ver 8 does.

Still the BEST !!!
Strengths: Ease of use with an excellent interface at an affordable price!
Weakness: None!
This may not be the latest version of Paint Shop Pro at this point in time, it surely is the greatest version till date!
There are many newer features in this version which allow you to accomplish the most common tasks with the least of efforts.
