ATI Radeon 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder Video Card

DRIVERS SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED...

Strengths: Very good videocard!!! Stylish, watch TV and even record!!!, VCD, everything. KICKASS PRODUCT!!! remote , etc DDR2, yes, DDR2, not 1 but 2

Weakness: BADBADBAD DRIVER CDS!!!!! (no problem tho, no big deal)

DRIVERS SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED DIRECTLY FROM THE ATI SITE!!! THERE WILL NOT BE ANY BUGS!!! TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEOCARD!!! NO LAG!!!

It took me about 1 week to get everyting working fine. Just need to find the correct way. Which is downloading the correct drivers UPDATED VERSION. now it works like a charm!!!

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS!!!

I currently have two systems with ATI Radeon 8500 cards (one 64 meg, one 128 meg,) another system has an All in Wonder 8500 DV 64 meg. My new system build has the All in Wonder 9800 Pro, and has been stable and performing flawlessly for three weeks. (This system has the Asus P4P deluxe motherboard with Intel 865 chipset.) The TV and video functions are awesome, and games have never looked better. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the AIW 9800 Pro card again.

If you don't want to spend $500...

Strengths: unbelievable speed, good color blending, cool colors :p

Weakness: drivers are an issue

If you don't want to spend $500 then this is the card to have. Runs flawlessly. I have never had a lockup, reboot, or anything. Halo looks ridiculously amazing. The details that are brought out with this card are eyepopping. I've seen the other Nvidia equivalents to the 9800 pro (5900 ultra) and ATI brings those details out better. The details that are brought out with this card are eyepopping. I've seen the other Nvidia equivalents to the 9800 pro (5900 ultra) and ATI brings those details out better. It is also the recommended card for Half Life 2 and Doom 3 (as of now) so I'm ready.

The bad: Drivers are a nightmare. ATI could have done a better job and they are capable of having good drivers that could excel these cards even faster not like they're fast enough already.

Even though the drivers are bad I still give it 5 stars because there is no better solution to blazing fast performance at $350.

Wow!! Have MS FS2002 and Jedi Knight Outcast II and have everything set to the highest graphic options and no pauses just smooth perfect graphics. I don't even have anymore VHS's! I copied them with this card and then burned them onto DVD. I only watch DVDs now. Add a home movie and take and edit still pictures. There will be faster video cards out, no doubt, but this card is so fast, even with 4x full screen anti-aliasing on, that newer cards will let your computer only slightly faster performance (not even noticeable). Unless videogames rapidly progress to the extreme point of realism within two years, this card will play any game at a very fast frame rate, without any slowdown. As for the remainder of the package, well, let’s just says that it comes with a $150 video editing package, it lets you record anything to DVD-quality for DVD authoring, and the included remote works through walls and can serve as a mouse-replacement.

There was a defect with this card...

Strengths: Ginsu Video Card.

Weakness: None(as long as it works).

There was a defect with this card when I first got it, ATI took care of it in a little over a week. Other than that this is quite All in One video card. Gameplay is great, TV tuner quality is good. Video capture also good. Price is a little steep but worth it for those who are heavy gamers and also do some video editing or perhaps watch TV on the side.
